Join us  for a 13-day African Journey from the tropical beaches of Zanzibar Island to the northern wildlife ecosystems of Serengeti, Ngorongoro and others! This safari is designed for active people of any age who are interested in a unique group safari experience. The safari’s emphasis is on being close to the land, close to the people and close to the culture, as this is what a true African safari is all about. The safari will involve accommodations in first-class lodges (9 nights) as well as classic African camping (3 nights) in beautiful and wild Serengeti Plains. Camping will be in full-size African expedition tents with beds, hot showers and sit-down toilets. Our safaris are comfortable, and at times luxurious, but are primarily planned to emphasize the quality and depth of the experience.

While this is a group-led safari, the itinerary is flexible and has a high degree of personal freedom. This safari will include:

·         Boat trips to nearby islands, dolphin trips, snorkeling in the clear waters, visits to forest reserve, spice plantation tours or just more relaxing.

·         Fly on a chartered plane to the heart of Serengeti National Park.

·         Three days and nights luxury camping at Seronera in Serengeti National Park.

·         Game drives throughout the Serengeti. All the things you can expect from one of the world’s most famous parks.

·         Game drives and picnic in Ngorongoro Crater. Stay two nights at luxurious Serena Lodge on the Crater rim.

·         Visit the famous archeological site at Olduvai Gorge.

·         Two nights at elegant Kirurumu Lodge on the Great Rift Valley Escarpment. Time for cultural walks, visits to villages, shopping, mountain biking, canoeing, or horseback riding.

·         Visit Arusha, safari capital of Tanzania and stay at the Impala Hotel. Time for shopping and souvenirs.
