Safari starts in Arusha from town or pickup at the airport.
Drive to Ndarakwai, a private game reserve on the western slopes of
Kilimanjaro. Lodging at luxurious permanent tented
camp.
June
16 The
whole day for game walks, game drives, biking through the reserve,
an afternoon in the tree house, and an evening visit to visit the
neighboring Maasai village while the cows come in for the
night.

17
Optional drive to the base of Mt.
Kilimanjaro and
Maasai village. Return to Ndarakwai for the
night.
June
18
Depart Ndarakwai, and drive to Arusha
National Park
for walking safari. Leave Arusha for Tarangire
National Park.
Lodging at the Tarangire Safari Lodge overlooking the Tarangire
River.
June 19 All day
game drive. Picnic lunches or dine at the lodge. Continue game
drives or relax in the afternoon near the pool. Late afternoon game
drives. Another night at Tarangire Safari
Lodge.

20
Morning game drives. Depart Tarangire after lunch and drive
across Great Rift Valley to the
Manyara Wildlife Lodge up on the excarpment.
June
21 Visit
Mto wa Mbu on the shores of Lake Manyara for a culture walk
through the village. After lunch relax, swim, return into town.

22
Depart in the morning for Ngorongoro Crater. Afternoon game
drive and stay at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge on the crater
rim..
June
23
Depart crater for transit to Serengeti camp. Stop at
Olduvai Gorge and the shifting sand
dune. Transit through the short grass plain with good game viewing
en route. Camp in the heart of the Serengeti.
June
24 All
day game drives and exploring in Serengeti. Return to camp for the
night.
June 25 Further
explorations of Serengeti. Transit to the south or west to the
Grumeti River as determined by our
guides and animal movements. Return to camp for the
night.
June
26
Depart Serengeti for Arusha via commercial turboprop. Arrive
Arusha at noon for afternoon in town and onward connections
homeward. Or, continue
on to Zanzibar for five fantastic days
there.
